Laptech is a Turnkey Information Technology (IT), Automation and business process services provider.

Laptech offers a broad range of services from IT strategy setting and consultancy through turnkey systems integration to comprehensive outsourcing of IT and/or business functions. We have extensive capabilities to manage, enhance and support the IT and business processes. We aim to setup an a local data center in Tripoli, Libya to offer hosting and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to local companies who do not wish to invest heavily into IT datacenters.

Also, we have an Automation Division which handles the Industrial Systems and Technologies for the Major Industries such as Oil&Gas, Power, Water and Major Manufacturing.

Laptech aims to advance the national IT maturity by providing flexible options to modernization and by supporting the local IT community by investing in strategic and innovative projects.

Laptech is a subsidiary company owned by the Libyan African Portfolio for Investments (LAP) with its Head Quarters in Dubai, UAE and first operating branch based in Tripoli, Libya. LapTech aims to open other branches in Africa to serve the current LAP subsidiaries and the markets in general.

LAP has been established under the General People's Committee Decree No. 15 in 2006, and It is under the supervision of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA).

The objectives of LAP are to develop and invest in all areas of production, technology, services, real estate and finance.

LAP has an initial capital of 5 billion USD. LAP owns a number of companies in different sectors in Africa.
